Tabs collect all day long in the browser. We attach meaning to each one, sliding onto the next in our browser bar.
Yet in order to begin, we must make peace with the tabs as they close off.
The world expects a lot from us, but we can only do one thing at a time.
So just focus on the next most important task, and let the rest go.
You will come back to it when it’s ready to be worked on.
Bonus: Keep a small pad of paper by your side while you work on a computer. Take notes of what you see like a reporter.
That way you can think about it later, as opposed to getting into the habit of reacting to what you see.
