Enjoying the Ordinary
Good ideas emerge from the routine, keeping the momentum going
Often we feel like the work has to speak to us in some grand way.
That there needs to be a lightning bolt in order for there to be inspiration.
Yet consider how good ideas will come to you just by going through the motions.
Move the pen on the paper and let the words come to you…
Monday mornings can be hard because we resist the boring and mundane processes.
The challenge then is to redirect your attention to what is new and novel inside of the routine.
Acceptance of what is, and the knowledge that you can’t do much to change the situation immediately.
When you resist doing some sort of work, opening emails or something of this sort, remove any expectations of things working out your way.
Humans are the wildcard and compromise is one of the only reliable ways for how we work with others.

agreed, well said and always timely wisdom ;)
