Going Back Home
Are you willing to do the work regardless of how you will execute it?
Let me break that question down for you a bit since I know it’s a lot to digest.
When we get an idea for doing something, it’s commonly followed by the thought of how to get it done.
This is a horrible habit to take on. The reason is because the how is often a multi-step process. I’m not saying it’s necessarily hard, it’s just layers of things to get done.
With these layers of actions, our mechanical brain keeps fixating on how realistic or unrealistic the idea is.
And that’s where all ideas go to die - in the complexity you threw at it because you jumped at the how when you didn’t even work through how much you even want this outcome.
Stay close to the dream. Let the vision inspire you. Know that this place is home.
When you start to get into the world of planning and you feel the energy of the project dissipate, go back home.
To be in flow. To be captivated by the feeling of love over fear.
It’s a beautiful place, let it bring a tear to your eye.
