This weekend I learned about a whole category of products called Mouse Movers.
These are various mechanisms which literally move your mouse so that you look active on instant messaging apps during business hours.
I know there would be a range of opinions about this, but I loved the idea of a tool that keeps you moving.
Morning Pages is a mouse mover activity for your creative ideas. When you start writing in the journal entry, you don’t stop until it’s done. Until you’ve poured everything out of your body.
Writing a bad song is a mouse mover for the world of music production and songwriting.
Write just a page of a script based on a generated prompt to move your mouse in the screenplay writing world.
Can you paint in Procreate using just circles for ten minutes? That’s a little mouse mover for your art practice when you complain that you don’t have enough time for art and that it makes a mess everywhere.
A mouse mover can also be something that you remove in order to keep moving. This letter doesn’t have an image with it. Much easier to get it done this way.
