Stay the Course
The message you needed to read
When the waves of life get busy we are tested about our true commitment to the craft.
This message serves as a reminder to stay the course and not give in or give up.
No one’s rooting for you and no one’s coming to save you from the castle.
For the most creative people, it’s lonely at the bottom and at the top.
We cannot expect things that are outside of our control: The way people will respond and receive our work, or to be accepted in general.
The only thing we can expect is that when we sit down to do the work, that an idea will get nudged or pushed along in some way.
The most creative work is about connecting with that which comes from within.
Because that which comes from without doesn’t belong to us.
Let go of other people’s opinions and the garbage they carry around every day.
Instead, lead by example and show everyone how it’s done.
Leaders might eat last but they have to be the first to hunt.
