The Space Between
In the Project Lab yesterday, we spent some time reflecting on the past month through a writing prompt exercise.
Lisa wrote a bit about the tension between what we imagine in our minds and what actually gets produced (see the bottom of this post).
There is usually quite a difference between the two. And this often frustrates us.
If you want to put this into action then just try drawing an image that’s on your mind, regardless of your skill level with fine art.
The small mind will get upset about it. Yet the larger, infinite mind might realize that this is magic.
This ability to communicate what’s on our minds goes back to our prehistoric selves with the cave drawings and oral histories that were retold around campfires.
This space between what’s on our minds in the formless and what manifests in the world of form really is where the magic happens.
This is the tension that we have to lean into in order to bottle up the inspiration and share it with others.
The tension gets converted to light through alchemy and the end result is radiation of ideas and spirit that propel us forward as a collective.
