Trial and Error
Being stuck is a choice that we make.
The reason it’s a choice and not a fixed state is that you have the option to treat your work like a scientist working in a lab.
The scientist has a list of experiments to get through, and they will review the results at a later time.
When the creative brain works this way, you can loosen the grip on your project and just try new ideas out.
You can leave the critical brain to do its work later on when you review the output of the session.
In this moment, everything is trial and error.
Speaking of scientists, this 60 Minutes interview with Cillian Murphy is great as it highlights what a classy and devoted actor he is.
