This week I played some guitar and hit record on the video camera just for fun to try it out. Then I brought the raw footage into The Project Lab to see if I could turn it into a social post.
I was almost convinced that it was garbage which needed to be tossed out, but then I gave it a shot and clipped out the end (which is usually the best part of any jam).
Then, like a naive school kid living in the suburbs, I posted it before I could talk myself out of it.
Taking the Leap is Like Walking Through a Doorway
You simply don’t know what will happen when you pass through this portal. This is the point when your ego gives in and your spirit takes over.
Notice when you try to censor yourself. Put in the time to do the work, and don’t turn back when you’ve made something. Embrace all the mistakes that happened in there, they are what make us human.
Everything is a work in progress. When you finish one mini-project, you will have tons of ideas for round 2.

Without a bad first start, I couldn’t have found the motivation to make something a bit better.
